Art & !deas is dedicated to furthering the visual arts and design through criticism, curatorship, education and independent scholarship. It is the creation of Lyle Rexer, a writer, lecturer, curator and member of the faculty of the School of Visual Arts in New York. Art & !deas is an independent source of ideas, insights and excellent writing, but it also works directly with artists, galleries, publications and institutions to encourage understanding and appreciation of their work.
